Regulation 16 consultation
North Wootton Parish Council submitted their Neighbourhood Plan to the Borough Council on 12 September 2023, in accordance with the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012, Regulation 15. We have reviewed the submitted documentation and can confirm this meets the requirements of Regulation 15 (Legal check letter).
As the relevant local planning authority, we are now required to consult on the submitted Neighbourhood Plan prior in advance of an independent examination, under Regulation 16.
The consultation will last six weeks from Friday 13 October 2023 until 11:59pm on Friday 24 November 2023. Responses will be given directly to the examiner to determine if the plan meets the “basic conditions”, the statutory tests that a Neighbourhood Plan needs to fulfil.

A hard copy of the plan is available to view at the Council offices 9.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Thursday and 9.00am to 4.45pm on Fridays at:

Making Representations
Representations should be submitted by 11:59pm on Friday 24 November 2023.
If possible they should be submitted using our online portal which will enable us to process these in an efficient and timely manner.

The draft North Wootton Neighbourhood Plan was consulted upon by the Parish Council between 13 March and 8 May 2023, inclusive, under the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012, Regulation 14.
