Confirm your residency
If you’re a British national and receive a pension from another country, we can provide a stamp on your form (free of charge) to confirm your residency in our borough.
This service is only available to West Norfolk residents.
To get your form stamped and signed by us, please send your form to:

We provide proof of life by checking the Council Tax records against the details listed on your form.
If the name on your form is different to what’s on your Council Tax bill, you’ll need to fill in a change of circumstances – please visit our change of circumstances page.
If you’ve moved address and the address on your form is different to what’s on your Council Tax bill, you’ll need to tell us – please visit our tell us you’re moving page.
What happens next?
Please allow 10 working days for us to receive, verify and return your form through the post.
We're not able to:
- advise you on how to complete your form
- verify your form in the Council offices
