Information about works on Downham Market public toilets
Refurbishment update - 22 May 2025
We're please to say that the refurbishment has been completed and the toilets will be open from 7am on 23 May 2025.
Refurbishment update - 10 February 2025
Work is started last September on a Borough Council project to improve the toilet facilities in Downham Market town centre.
The new toilets will include an accessible toilet and two self-contained unisex toilets with one having a baby-changing facility added.
It was originally hoped that work would be completed before Christmas but as often happens in building projects, when we started to strip down the old block we found some issues that caused a delay.
We’ve dealt with these now and we’re hoping the toilets will be open by the end of March 2025.
