County Council elections
The Norfolk County Council elections due to take place in May 2025 will now be postponed until 2026. This is due to Norfolk's acceptance onto the government's Devolution Priority List which will lead to changes in local government structures across the county.
The postponement means that current Norfolk county councillors will remain in office for an additional year. Norfolk is among several areas where elections have been postponed as part of wider local government changes.
