Our structure
We have 55 councillors. Each councillor represents a local area known as a ward.
The council is currently controlled by the Independent Partnership. And the key positions are as follows:
- Mayor: Councillor Margaret Wilkinson

- Leader: Councillor Terry Parish
- Deputy Leader: Councillor Jim Moriarty
