Information on the role of The Council and governance structure

The role of the Borough Council of King’s Lynn and West Norfolk

The Borough Council for King’s Lynn and West Norfolk is the lead local authority for delivering UKSPF and REPF investment across the borough. This means that the Council is responsible for engaging partners to establish the strategic vision to maximise the positive impact of these funding streams across King’s Lynn and West Norfolk and for developing and maintaining the most effective framework of projects to deliver on this vision. The Council is responsible for the local administration of the funds and as part of its delivery approach the Council will be managing investment projects directly, will be providing opportunities to apply for UKSPF and REPF grants and will also be working with third parties to deliver impactful local projects.
