Street sweeping
Street Sweeping is carried out on a regular basis across the borough.
Other areas will be cleansed to remove litter and debris to an acceptable standard.
We also aim to keep all of the main urban shopping areas clean and tidy throughout the day.
This may include a mixture of manual and mechanical cleansing.
Unfortunately we do not cleanse:
- unadopted highways
- roads on unadopted new developments
Please note, we may not mechanically sweep brick unkerbed roads, and do not sweep brick weave due to the damage that may be caused.
