Three parish council elections will be re-run due to insufficient candidates when elections were originally held in May.

To ensure the parishes of Burnham Overy, Houghton and Northwold (Northwold and Whittingham Ward) are quorate, nominations are being sought for candidates now.

The Notices of Election for Parish Council elections in those areas has been published today, Wednesday 17 May 2023. The notices can be found at

Nominations will close at 4pm on Thursday 25 May and, as long as enough candidates are nominated, elections will be held on Thursday 22 June 2023.
