Andrew Barrett, Electoral Services Manager for the Borough Council of King's Lynn & West Norfolk said:

“We’re getting closer to polling day now, people need to ensure that they’re registered, have photo ID if they plan to vote in person or have applied for their postal or proxy vote.

“Also, anyone who has moved house in the past few months should register at their new address.”

The deadline to register is 17 April 2023 and the deadline for receiving new postal vote and proxy applications is 5pm on Tuesday 18 April 2023.

Anyone who does not have one of the accepted forms of photo ID is able to apply for free ID online at voter-authority-certificate.service.gov.uk/ or by completing a paper form by 5pm on 25 April 2023.

The Parish statements of persons nominated will be published tomorrow, 5 April 2023.
