Village homes

Information about opportunities to rent or part buy certain village homes

Looking for a home in a local village

There are opportunities to rent or part buy some village homes. Special rules mean priority is given to local people with a housing need, for example, where they can't afford to rent or buy homes in the area.

If you are looking for a home in your local village, you should apply to join our Housing Register. You can then be aware when vacant homes are advertised. Normally only people registered with West Norfolk Homechoice can be considered for local village homes. So it is important to register even if there are no homes available to rent or buy now.

You will need to complete an online form, provide information and bid, as with any other property becoming available. This is explained on our housing register page and our bid for a property page.

For details of where we have village homes available, please see the details in our housing strategy, policies and information page.
