This week is Srebrenica Memorial Week. Mayor of King's Lynn and West Norfolk, Cllr Harry Humphrey, explains how the borough will mark Srebrenica Memorial Day on Sunday 11 July 2021.
In July 1995, over 8,000 Bosnian Muslim people were killed in Srebrenica. The Bosnian genocide is the worst atrocity to occur in Europe since WW2. This week, we remember all of those who perished due to hatred. Together, we can ensure that these horrific acts are never repeated.
