Mayor of King’s Lynn & West Norfolk, Cllr Geoff Hipperson, joined the Crimplesham Parish Council online Zoom meeting on Wednesday 17 March to present a special mayor's community volunteer certificate.

The recognition was being given to Cllr Pamela Rose who has served the community of Crimplesham as Councillor, Chair and Vice Chair for 41 years.

The Mayor, Cllr Hipperson, said: “This commitment to public service is rare and Cllr Rose has certainly showed the passion and care for her village for more than four decades. As well as her Parish council dedication, Cllr Rose is a trustee of the Village Hall committee and was a trustee of the Playing Field committee who lead the successful campaign to save the school playing field.

“I’m very pleased to be awarding a special mayor's volunteer certificate to Cllr Rose for the large contribution she has given to her community.”
