On 27 November voters are due to go to the polls to vote in a by-election to fill a vacancy in the King’s Lynn and West Norfolk Borough Ward of Hunstanton.
Anyone not already registered to vote must do so by 11 November if they wish to cast a vote in this election.
Voting will take place at Hunstanton Town Hall and the polling station will be open from 7am to 10pm.
Anyone who is unable to vote in person can check if they are eligible for a postal or proxy vote by contacting Electoral Services on 01553 616773.
The deadline for applications to vote by post is 5pm on 12 November (for new postal voting arrangements and amendments to existing arrangements, including postal proxies). This is also the deadline for amendments to existing arrangements to vote by proxy.
The deadline for new applications to vote by proxy is 19 November.
The deadline for emergency proxy vote applications (if the emergency arose after 19 November) is 5pm on 27 November.
The votes will be counted on Friday 28 November with a result expected to be declared around noon.
