Chance for west Norfolk businesses to KLIC and Connect this December

KLIC and Connect in December 2023.

Published: Wednesday, 6th December 2023

A free drop-in event for businesses in west Norfolk to get support from a range of business support professionals, and network with other like-minded businesses, will return next week.

KLIC and Connect will take place at KLIC in King’s Lynn from 9:30am-2:30pm on Wednesday 13 December and give existing or aspiring business owners and managers the chance to find out more about starting up, scaling up and growing a business. There will also be information and advice on how innovation can help businesses grow, available grants and support for upskilling and training staff.

Cllr Alistair Beales, Cabinet member for Business at the borough council, said:

“These events were well supported by the west Norfolk business community earlier this year and I’m pleased that we can host another one before the year ends.

“The borough council wants to support our businesses to grow and thrive and this is a fantastic opportunity to find out what we can do for them.”

Representatives from New Anglia Local Enterprise Partnership and Growth Hub, Chamber of Commerce, Menta, the Norfolk County Council Boost team and the borough council will also be on hand to talk to.

There will also be an opportunity to find out more about exciting developments in King’s Lynn, including plans for the Nar Ouse Business Park, proposals for an Innovation and Collaboration Incubator and how KLIC can help businesses by offering meeting spaces, hotdesking, co-working and more.

Free copies of the new West Norfolk Business Support Guide will be available to pick-up at the event. This handy guide has details of the people to contact for help with your business.

The event is open to current KLIC tenants, as well as all local businesses in the borough of west Norfolk and the general catchment area of the KLIC centre.

Free spots for the event can be booked online.

KLIC is located at Innovation Drive, King's Lynn, PE30 5BY.

This event is part of the Connected Innovation programme from New Anglia LEP. It is made possible by the Norfolk Strategic Fund and the Suffolk Inclusive Growth Investment Fund and Borough Council of King’s Lynn and West Norfolk, and supported by Nar Ouse Business Park Enterprise Zone.
