Lady Dannatt MBE, HM Lord-Lieutenant of Norfolk, visited St George’s Guildhall, in King's Lynn, on Thursday 16 November 2023.
Students from King’s Oak Academy welcomed Lady Dannatt to their exhibition in the Shakespeare Barn art gallery and then Tim FitzHigham, Creative Director at the Borough Council of King’s Lynn & West Norfolk, invited Lady Dannatt into the only working theatre that can claim Shakespeare performed there. Last month (October) the theatre celebrated the incredible discovery of the actual boards on which the famous Bard is believed to have trod.
