Cancelled - Murder most foul at St George’s Guildhall

Murder mystery event cancelled

Published: Thursday, 12th October 2023

Unfortunately the Murder Mystery Event on 25 October at St George’s Guildhall has been cancelled.

Cancelled.

Can you help catch a killer, one that “may smile and smile and be a villain”, and solve a medieval murder mystery?

Join the St George’s Guildhall team on Wednesday 25 October for a medieval murder mystery inspired by William Shakespeare’s Hamlet.

This family-friendly half-term event will feature costumed characters that will interact with children, who will have to work out clues that they drop to see if they can find the culprit.

There will also be crafts to enjoy, to complement the activities.

Jane Hamilton, the Guildhall Learning and Engagement Officer, said: “Some might ask if the question is ‘to be or not to be’ but at our Medieval Murder Mystery, the question is ‘whodunnit?’!”

“This event should be lots of fun so if you have children who are interested in theatre, stories or mysteries, please book and come along for some fun!”

The event is aimed at children aged 5-12, with up to 30 places available. The event is on Wednesday 25 October at 10.30am to 12.30pm. It costs £3 per child (accompanying adult free) but must be booked in advance at https://www.guildhall-events.co.uk/events/
