Clenchwarton parish poll news

At a parish meeting held in Clenchwarton on 2 March 2023, a parish poll was demanded on the following questions:

  1. Do you think a new multi-use community facility should be built to replace the existing Pavilion?
  2. Should the Memorial Hall be sold by the Parish Council to contribute towards the cost of a new multi-use community facility?
  3. If there is a funding shortfall, are you willing to contribute to a new multi-use community facility through an increase in the Parish Council precept?

The poll will be held on Thursday, 22 June 2023.

The polling station will be Memorial Hall, 2 Black Horse Road, Clenchwarton, King’s Lynn, PE34 4DN.

The polling station will be open from 4 pm to 9 pm, during which time the registered local government electors of the parish, will have the opportunity to cast their vote.

There is no provision for poll cards, postal votes or proxy votes at a parish poll.

The result of the Poll will be declared the following day, Friday 23 June 2023.
