Festive Fun at Alive

The festive season is nearly upon us and we are very excited, as we have lots of activities for you and your family to enjoy this Christmas at Alive West Norfolk!

From Monday 19 December we are serving up some fun Christmas Tennis tournaments at Lynnsport, where sessions include fun games and competitions for kids. We are also spreading the Christmas Tennis cheer to Downham on Tuesday where we will see a similar set up!

This year we are bringing you some extra Christmas cheer to local families with a Christmas Extravaganza at Alive Lynnsport! Choose from Tumble Teds (Under 5’s only) or Festive Fun and Games in the Sports Hall (5-8yrs) for an hour’s playtime (Christmas Fancy Dress is most welcome)! Then head upstairs where the fun will continue with Christmas crafts and some short Christmas films. There will also be a bouncy castle and children will get the opportunity to meet Father Christmas and receive a small present. We would love to see you there to help us spread the Christmas cheer! Pre-booking is essential for the Christmas Extravaganza as spaces are limited.

Our popular Climbing & Skateboarding are back this Christmas Holiday! So, if your tribe fancy trying something new this holiday then these sessions are perfect! Don’t forget to book in advance as these sessions are popular!

If you’ve got some last-minute shopping to do or are still busy working, we have some fun themed holiday clubs including Gymnastics, Multisports, Football and Cricket! Visit our website to view our brochure for more info, what’s on and to book.

Thanks to funding from the Borough Council of Kings Lynn & West Norfolk, the Multisport Holiday Club has been subsidised and is just £10 including a free lunch! They have ensured all Holiday Clubs will also include a healthy lunchtime meal, and thanks to our continued support from the borough council we are also bringing you a “Winter of Play”. Children can enjoy drop-In activities including Swimming, Kaset Skatepark, Alive Adventures, Roller Skating & Tumble Teds for only £1 or 50p with an Alive concessions card (under 19yrs).

“Following the popularity of the Summer of Play, along with the activities during the October half term, I’m pleased that the borough council can contribute to the Winter of Play.

These activities are important for people’s physical and mental wellbeing. This funding means that Alive West Norfolk can deliver holiday clubs, offer free lunches for all those attending holiday clubs, and offer heavily discounted drop in sessions, allowing families who are facing more financial pressure due to cost of living increases to enjoy some activities around the festive break.”

Alive also partner with Norfolk County Council to bring you “Big Norfolk Festive Holiday Fun” where children eligible for means tested free school meals, will receive a FREE place on our half day clubs and a free meal! Pre-booking is essential.

The excitement continues with our BRAND NEW Inflata-fun sessions at St James! Children can enjoy fun and games onboard our pool inflatable! Please note, pre booking of these sessions are essential and all children must be confident swimmers to take part.

If you follow Santa’s Sleigh up to the Norfolk coast we have some exciting Christmas Alive Adventures sessions at Oasis, where children can spend some time in the soft play area and join in with fun Christmas games and arts & crafts with our jolly team!

Don’t forget we have some more relaxed sessions where children as young as 4 can enjoy Christmas Crafts and create master pieces for you to take home!

Join us this festive season for a truly WICKED panto! Alive Corn Exchange have once again teamed up with Jordan Productions to bring you West Norfolk’s most popular pantomime, the wonderful Snow White.  Returning by popular demand will be our two leading panto favourites, King’s Lynn’s favourite double act Ian Marr and Scott Cripps.  The panto fun begins Wednesday 7 December until Saturday 31 December.  Ticket prices start from only £17!

At Alive Corn Exchange Cinema, we will be showing a selection of films for the whole family to enjoy - including Matilda – The Musical, and some Christmas classics including - Elf, Home Alone, and It’s A Wonderful Life, alongside the new Avatar movie – The Way of Water.  We are also screening the CBEEBIES Panto - Dick Whittington on Saturday 10 & Sunday 11 December.
