Thanks for getting involved with West Winch consultation

West Winch Growth Area Framework Masterplan

Published: Wednesday, 19th October 2022

Local people are being thanked for getting involved with the recent consultation on the West Winch Framework Masterplan.

Cllr Richard Blunt, Borough Council of King's Lynn & West Norfolk Cabinet Member for Development and Regeneration, said:

"We had over 170 people attend the two drop-in sessions, and are now working our way through all the submissions that we have received about the West Winch Framework Masterplan, both from the face-to-face sessions and online.  This is a brilliant response.  We would like to thank people for taking time out of their busy lives to get involved in the development of this crucial supplementary planning document."

All the representations that have been made will be reviewed, and where appropriate, changes to the masterplan will be proposed.  By the end of the year a summary document collating the responses received and a statement of community consultation will be published.

A separate consultation around the design of the proposed new road at West Winch will be taking place in the next couple of months, led by Norfolk County Council.  Further details will be published as soon as the dates and locations are confirmed.
