West Norfolk school children created a Loyal Address and Mosaic that has been presented to Her Majesty The Queen to mark her 70 year reign.

Children met the Mayor on Friday 4 February 2022 at King’s Lynn Town Hall to see what they had created. They were delivered to the Queen the following day by the Mayor of King's Lynn & West Norfolk, Cllr Harry Humphrey, at a reception held at Sandringham on the eve of the Platinum Jubilee.

Schools involved in writing the Loyal Address were Holly Meadows, Eastgate and St Michael’s primaries in a project co-ordinated by the learning and engagement officer at Stories of Lynn, Rachael Williams. Churchill Park made the mosaic artwork. Watch the Queen receive them below.

More activities are planned to take place in west Norfolk to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee year.
