On Thursday 30 September 2021, a referendum poll was conducted asking the following: "Do you want the Borough Council of King's Lynn and West Norfolk to use the Neighbourhood Plan for Terrington St John to help decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area?" The results are as follows:
