Paint is classed as hazardous waste and will not be accepted at the Heacham, King’s Lynn, or Docking household waste recycling centres.
Please do not put liquid paint in your green bin or your black bin. If the paint is completely dried out, metal cans may be recycled at the Heacham, King’s Lynn, or Docking household waste recycling centres in the metals container. Plastic cans may be accepted in the waste to landfill container.
Liquid paint will be accepted at Household Waste Amnesty days held annually at selected sites. Please check the Norfolk County Council website for forthcoming dates.
