Report a breach or star of COVID-19 safety rules

Tell us if you've seen a business who isn't complying with COVID-19 (Coronavirus) safety rules, or about one that has exceeded them

How to report a breach

Businesses have a legal responsibility to keep employers and visitors safe. They must follow the Government advice when operating.

If you've seen a business who isn't adhering to the COVID-secure guidelines, please first take up any concerns with the premises manager or staff. Explain what you are not happy with, and give them the chance to put it right. They might not be aware of any problems, and will usually be able to correct matters straight away.

If, having spoken to the premises manager/staff, you still have concerns about a business not adhering to social distancing measures within the premises, please report this to us. You can use our online form below.

To report a breach in COVID-19 regulations, you'll need:

  • to confirm that you've already spoken to the premises manager or staff
  • the business name and address
  • details of the offence

Please tell us of any business you think deserves recognition for the work they've done transforming the way they normally work to make it COVID-19 safe.

If you've come across what you consider a star business then please complete our online form below.
