Climate change business expo

Emissions from industry, commerce and transport are a significant proportion of the carbon footprint for the geographic area of King’s Lynn and West Norfolk.

We recognise the significance of our local businesses' contributions to tackle climate change as well as the impacts they face as going concerns.

We have commissioned Norfolk Chamber of Commerce to organise a Climate Change Expo for local businesses.

The Expo 22 was held on Tuesday 21 June 2022 at King’s Lynn Corn Exchange. For more information please read the event report below.

Our objectives for this event are:

  • promoting the urgency of climate change
  • helping to provide advice and share practical measures for local businesses to reduce their carbon footprint and work towards net zero
  • assisting in the identification of opportunities associated with climate change

The event will showcase trade stands and information to inform local businesses on how to reduce their carbon footprint. Workshop events will also be held throughout the day.

Our staff will be on hand throughout the day to discuss how we are tackling our own carbon emissions and the measures we are implementing on our journey towards net zero.

Further details and registration for the event can be found on the Norfolk Chambers of Commerce website
