Information about the business help available if your business has been affected by COVID-19
Grants are available for businesses adversely affected by the coronavirus restrictions. Details of the grants are below.
We've provided an overview on the status of available grants in the table below. You can use the hyperlink within the table to go to an individual grant page.
|Refresh and Reopen Grant||A grant to support businesses to reopen their premises and make adaptions to meet social distancing requirements. Applications are now open|
|Go Digital Grant||Due to high demand, the scheme is closed to new applications at present. Please apply on Norfolk County Council's website to register your interest for when the scheme reopens|
|Restart Grants||A one-off grant for businesses shown in the business rates list which operate in certain sectors. Open for applications until 30 June 2021|
|Discretionary Restart Grants||
A discretionary grant for businesses not eligible for the mandatory Restart Grant, but which:
Applications close at 9am on 30 June 2021

Restart Grants from April 2021
The Government has announced a new scheme of Restart Grants of up to:
- £6,000 per premises for non-essential retail businesses
- £18,000 per premises for hospitality, accommodation, leisure, personal care and gym businesses
We've paid businesses automatically where we have been able to confirm they qualify.
In some cases we may need further information, and we'll be inviting these businesses to apply.

Discretionary Restart Grants
Discretionary Restart Grants are available for businesses not in the business rates list, but who offer in-person services and have been instructed to close during the January 2021 lockdown restrictions. Certain other businesses are also included.

Refresh and Reopen Grant
The Refresh and Reopen Grant supports businesses who without this award would struggle to:
- refresh their premises
- support their reopening
- make adaptions to meet social distancing requirements
You can claim 75% of the costs, up to a maximum of £10,000, for qualifying:
- outdoor/internal adaptions
- online/mobile-based interventions
- works to refresh your physical premises
- items relating to safe opening and hygiene requirements
