Report a lost, found or running loose dog

Guidance notes

  • A dog MUST BE contained for our contractor (Dogotel) to collect
  • Dogotel will contact you to arrange collection and they aim to collect all dogs within 2 hours of submitting your form (between the hours of 7:30am until 10pm)
  • Any dogs reported after 10pm needs to be kept at the property overnight to enable Dogotel to collect the following day
  • Any lost and found dogs will be listed on our website for 7 days – if you have lost a dog, we highly recommend that you include a photo when completing our online form
  • If you have lost your dog, then it’s also worth reporting this to your dog's microchipping company and KLFM as well as making sure you check our website on a daily basis for any new reports

Dog running loose

⚠ Please note that we cannot send our contractor out to collect the dog, as it’s not confined.
  • If it’s causing a safety issue on a road or the highway, then you will need to contact the Police.
  • Any dog reported as ‘running loose’ will be added to our website, so hopefully they can be reunited with their owner.
