Christmas carols at Mintlyn Crematorium

Christmas Carol Service at Mintlyn poster.

Published: Thursday, 21st November 2019

Mintlyn Crematorium is hosting a Christmas carol service on Wednesday 11 December at 7pm.

The crematorium introduced this family-friendly carol service last year and raised £250 for charity. This year they will be supporting The Norfolk Hospice, Tapping House, as well as the Mayor’s charities. Guests will be invited to donate £1 for a tag to place on the Christmas Memorial Tree.

The service will be led by Canon Peter Rollings of Our Lady of the Annunciation in King’s Lynn, Rev Julie Boyd of St Faith’s in Gaywood, and civil celebrant Debbie Coe.

Mayor of King’s Lynn & West Norfolk, Cllr Geoff Hipperson, will also be attending the service.

Once again the choir from St Faith’s in Gaywood will be part of the service, alongside them this year will be the Salvation Army brass band. Mince pies and drinks will be offered afterwards.

This is a free event for everyone to attend but, due to its popularity, a ticket will be required for entry. Email mintlyn@west-norfolk.gov.uk or telephone 01553 630533 for more details.

Mintlyn Crematorium is located on Lynn Road, Bawsey, King’s Lynn PE32 1HB.
