People visiting King’s Lynn on Sunday 24th November could win £100 in vouchers to spend in the town centre for sharing their thoughts about how they use the town centre and how they feel about it.
Between 12noon and 2pm, shoppers and visitors in the town centre can head to the Tuesday Market Place to give their views as part of the ongoing Vision King’s Lynn consultation.
The consultation will help to inform the town’s Future High Streets Fund submission. Earlier this year, King’s Lynn was named as one of the places through to the next phase of the Future High Streets Fund – which could potentially bring millions of pounds of transformational funding for the town centre.
Now the Future High Streets Fund Consultative Board, led by the Borough Council of King’s Lynn and West Norfolk, is preparing its detailed submission to the fund, and gaining the feedback of people who use the town centre is vital.
Matthew Henry, Assistant Director, Regeneration & Property explained: “Consulting people is an integral part of our approach and we are very keen to hear people’s views about the town centre. The Future High Streets Fund is a fantastic opportunity for King’s Lynn and we want to shape a business case that reflects the priorities for the town centre.”
Sunday’s drop in event follows a previous one which took place on Saturday 16th November and complements the online survey which people can fill in until 29th November: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/VBL5W55 And, there are also survey leaflets available throughout the town to fill in.
Updates about the Future High Streets Fund submission, and other funding for the town centre, will be shared across the Vision King’s Lynn social media channels Facebook @visionkingslynn, Twitter @vision_lynn and Instagram visionkingslynn.
