Mini Meet: in the market place returns this Sunday, 1 September, from 10am to 3pm.
Mini Meet is organised by the Borough Council of King’s Lynn & West Norfolk and is the perfect chance to show off your beloved Mini or just come along and admire everyone else’s.
Over 200 Minis, both modern and classic, are expected to line up in the Tuesday Market Place in King’s Lynn for this car show.
As well as celebrating 60 years of this iconic car, the magnificent market place at the heart of this historic town will be filled with entertainment. Local bands The Fried Pirates and The Tildens will perform sets during the day with local DJ Mark Purdy completing the line-up.
Cllr Brian Long, leader of the borough council, said: “Mini Meet returns for a third time to our programme of free summer events on 1 September. This year’s Mini Meet: in the market place is going to be another fun family event, perfect for all Mini enthusiasts.”
Towards the end of the event, Cllr Long will be presenting trophies to the owners of the Minis that have been awarded Judges’ Choice and the People’s Favourite. All exhibitors at the event will have the chance to vote and decide the winner of the People’s Favourite.
