People are invited to join the Sunset Health Walk in Hunstanton on Friday 30 August 2019.

The Borough Council of King's Lynn & West Norfolk and West Norfolk Walking for Health are teaming up again to stage the “Health Walk” along the seafront in Hunstanton.

The gentle 3-and-a-half-mile walk starts at the Bandstand on the Green at 6.30pm and heads along the prom towards Heacham, as the sun sets over a high tide.

West Norfolk Walking for Health stage a comprehensive programme of walks around the area which offer fitness and friendship. People can walk at their own pace, under 18s are welcome accompanied by an adult, and dogs are allowed on a short fixed lead.

Councillor Elizabeth Nockolds, deputy leader and portfolio holder for culture, heritage and health, said: “Our New Year’s Day Health Walk attracted 95 people to join in. It would be wonderful to top that figure. Please come and join us in Hunstanton for this sunset walk on Friday 30 August.”

The walk, which is free of charge (although a small donation to Walking for Health is welcome), takes place as part of Hunstanton’s Heritage Gardens lottery-funded activities. Further details are available at
