Free festivals continue throughout July

Crowd in the Tuesday Market Place

Things are warming up in west Norfolk this month with lots of free family friendly events to enjoy, supported by the Borough Council of King's Lynn & West Norfolk

Festival Too takes over the Tuesday Market Place for the next couple of weekends. Highlights include sets from Shola Ama, Judge Jules, Nadine Coyle, Cast, Marti Pellow and 5ive.

Plus there’s great local music at these events from the College of West Anglia, Springwood High School, Wisbech Grammar School and the Springwood Big Band amongst others.

King's Lynn Festival takes over the town from 14 July, starting with free event Music on the Market Place. Tickets can be bought for performances from the BBC Concert Orchestra, Lesley Garrett and Emma Johnson, film showings, guided walks and talks and concluding with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra with the Amatis Piano Trio.

On Sunday 21 July, the town steps back in time for Forties Lynn. Free activities taking place in the Tuesday Market Place, Lynn Museum and Town Hall. Enjoy music from the era, tea dance, air raid shelter tours, period vehicles and lots more.

A week later Folk in the Town entertains the Tuesday Market Place. Two days of Americana, traditional and modern folk music from Saturday 27 July.
