On 2 August voters in the Snettisham ward of the Borough Council of King’s Lynn & West Norfolk will go to the polls to elect a new borough councillor.
If you are not already registered to vote, you will need to register by 17 July to be able to vote in this election.
Voting will be at the following locations:
- Snettisham Parish: Memorial Hall, 10 Old Church Road, Snettisham PE31 7NW
- Fring and Sedgeford Parishes: Sedgeford Village Hall, Jarvie Close, Sedgeford PE36 5NG
- Ingoldisthorpe and Shernborne Parishes: Church Room, 36 Hill Road, Ingoldisthorpe PE31 6NZ
The polling stations will open from 7am to 10pm.
If you're unable to vote in person you may be eligible for a postal or proxy vote, and you should contact the Elections Office on 01553 616773 to find out more.
Applications to vote by post must be made by 5pm on Wednesday 18 July. This is also the deadline for any changes to postal voting arrangements or proxy voting arrangements.
Applications to vote by proxy must be made by 5pm on Wednesday 25 July 2018.
Emergency proxy vote applications on the grounds of disability or for work/service reasons (if the emergency did not exist at 5pm on Wednesday 25 July 2018) must be made by 5pm on Thursday 2 August 2018.
The counting of the votes will be held on Friday 3 August at 9am in our offices at King’s Court, Chapel Street, King’s Lynn PE30 1EX.
