Colour Dash comes to Hunstanton!

A group of people run through a cloud of powder paint at an EACH colour dash

Published: Monday, 11th June 2018

EACH are bringing their famous Colour Dash to the Hunstanton Heritage Gardens and tickets are available now!

The Colour Dash is a 2-mile run with a difference: as participants run, jog or walk the route they’ll pass colour stations staffed by paint pirates who’ll cover them with powder paint. It’s a fantastic way to help raise much-needed funds for EACH (East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices) and have a great day out with family, friends or colleagues.

Colour Dash Hunstanton 2018 is on Sunday 5 August from 10am to 3pm. The dash begins at 11am, and registration is open from 10am so participants have plenty of time to register, collect their T-shirts and prepare for the fun warm-up.

Tickets are available online at EACH's website and early bird prices are available until 25 June.
- Adult (16yrs+) - £20. Early Bird £17.50
- Child (5-15yrs) - £10. Early Bird £7.50
- Family (1 adult and 3 children or 2 adults and 2 children) - £54. Early Bird £45
- Team (min of 6 people) - £17.50pp. Early Bird £16pp
- Children under 5 go free

The Borough Council of King’s Lynn & West Norfolk is supporting the EACH Colour Dash as part of its £1.3million project to regenerate the Hunstanton Heritage Gardens, funded by the borough council and the National Lottery through a grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) and Big Lottery Fund.

Cllr Elizabeth Nockolds, borough council deputy leader and cabinet member said: “Anyone who has come along to a Colour Dash in King’s Lynn will know what a fun day out they are, so we’re really pleased to be bringing this great event to the Hunstanton Heritage Gardens. So come along, raise money for a wonderful cause, get absolutely covered in a rainbow of paint, and have a lot of fun!”

Emma Benstead, Events Fundraiser for EACH, said: “We're very excited to be bringing a splash of colour to Hunstanton this year and thank the borough council for its support. There's no competitive aspect, so you can run, jog or walk the course - just be prepared to get covered in coloured powder paint. It creates truly impressive, multi-coloured results! Please secure your tickets as soon as possible to take advantage of our special early bird offer.”
