Our Spring Plant & Craft Fair is just around the corner, and there will be lots to see and do!
On Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 May, from 10am to 4pm, the Tuesday Market Place in King’s Lynn will host horticulturally-themed stalls, demonstrations, and workshops, as this popular event returns.
There’ll be something for everyone, whether they’re keen gardeners or families in search of a fun day out, including:
- Plant/craft stalls
- Children’s activities
- Chainsaw carving
- Drop-in plant surgery
- Front Garden and Allotment Competitions launch
- West Norfolk & King’s Lynn Beekeeper’s Association (with observation hive)
- Cakes, chocolate and ice cream stalls
- Renewable energy
Recently added to the programme are the Gaywood Valley Conservation Group, who’ll be talking about their work, and the Environment Agency, who’ll be bringing a tank of live crayfish and eels.
Confirmed as the host of the drop-in plant surgery is Ian Roofe, aka the Plant Doctor, an expert horticulturalist and regular on BBC Radio Norfolk's Garden Party.
The free activity and craft workshops are for all ages, but children under 11 must be accompanied by an adult.
