New activities have been announced as part of the series of gentle exercise sessions taking place in the Hunstanton Heritage Gardens.
The sessions, suitable for all ages and abilities, have been organised as part of the Borough Council of King’s Lynn & West Norfolk’s packed programme of events taking place over the summer.
The sessions will be from 10am to noon, on the following dates:
22 May - net sports: badminton, volleyball and tennis
19 June - archery
25 September - walking football and ultimate Frisbee
Rosie Djurovic, the activities coordinator for the Hunstanton Heritage Gardens, said: “I’m so pleased with the sports we’ve confirmed for the rest of this programme. These are really fun sports that you don’t often get a chance to try, at a relaxed pace. Our first session was Nordic walking, and it was really enjoyed by the people who came along. We want people to try something new, in a friendly atmosphere, with no pressure. We’re expecting these sessions to fill up fast, so book your place quickly!”
To book, call 01485 536147. There is a £1 fee per session.
