A message from Norfolk County Council
Due to a suspected power surge, Norfolk County Council website, email and telephones are currently not available. We apologise for the inconvenience.
As a result we are requesting that the public only contact Norfolk County Council in an emergency.
County Hall was evacuated as a precautionary measure and the Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service called. The building is now all clear and the Fire Service have allowed staff back in to the building.
We are currently working hard to restore systems and will continue to update throughout the day.
Norfolk Record Office is still open for business – so anybody with a wedding or other appointment can still access the building, but please allow extra time.
