Community organisations across West Norfolk are being encouraged to apply for a new round of grant funding, with £115,000 now available from today, 6 July.
Cllr Chris Morley, Cabinet Member for Finance at the Borough Council of King’s Lynn & West Norfolk, said:
“These grant schemes are designed to give real, practical support to the groups who make a difference in our communities, from small clubs delivering everyday activities to larger organisations creating long‑term change. “We are placing particular emphasis on rural and coastal areas, where investment can have a transformative impact. Every group, whatever its size, has the opportunity to benefit from the progress we’ve made in West Norfolk over recent years, and we’re proud to reinvest that achievement into improvements across the borough.”
Funding is available to charities, constituted voluntary and community groups, social enterprises and community interest companies.
Grant amounts available
- Revenue grants – up to £2,500 for activity or operational costs.
- Capital grants – up to £10,000 for equipment, building works or refurbishment.
- Rural grants – an additional £50,000 ring‑fenced for rural and coastal projects.
In total, £115,000 is available:
- £50,000 for capital grants
- £15,000 for revenue grants
- £50,000 for rural applications
For capital projects, grants can cover up to 50% of total project costs in this round.

Applications for this round of grants must be submitted by 31 August 2026. A panel will meet in October to review submissions and award funding.
