On 11 May 2017 voters in the Fairstead ward of the borough of King's Lynn & West Norfolk will go to the polls to elect a new borough councillor.
Electors should be aware this is a borough council by-election which is different from the county council election on 4 May 2017.
Voting will be at the Fairstead Community Centre, Centre Point, King’s Lynn, PE30 4SR. The polling station will open from 7am to 10pm.

Applications to vote by post must be made by 5pm on Tuesday 25 April 2017. This is also the deadline for any changes to postal voting arrangements or proxy voting arrangements.
Applications to vote by proxy must be made by 5pm on Wednesday 3 May 2017.
Emergency proxy vote applications (if the emergency did not exist at 5pm on Wednesday 3 May 2017) must be made by 5pm on Thursday 11 May 2017.
The counting of the votes will be held on Friday 12 May at 9:30am in the Committee Suite, Borough Council of King's Lynn & West Norfolk, King’s Court, Chapel Street, King’s Lynn, PE30 1EX.
