Community Energy Saving Measures 2023/24
We understand and appreciate that times are getting tough, so how can you save money on your energy bills? Energy saving household products such as radiator reflectors, low energy LED lightbulbs, draught proof tape and hot water tank covers are provided free of charge for eligible households and advice can be accessed to help reduce your energy bills and improve energy efficiency.

West Norfolk Rural Business Capital Grants 2023/24 and 2024/25
This grant scheme can provide funding of up to 50% of eligible capital costs, up to a maximum value of £100,000, to support new and existing rural businesses to develop new products and facilities that will be of wider benefit to the local economy. This includes farm businesses looking to diversify income streams. This programme is being run by New Anglia Local Enterprise Partnership in conjunction with BCKLWN.

West Norfolk Rural Community Capital Grants 2024/25
This scheme provides opportunities for capital grants to provide improved community services and assets for local people. This is being run by Norfolk Community Foundation in partnership with BCKLWN. All 2023/24 funding has now been allocated but the scheme will reopen early 2024 to provide more grant opportunities for community groups for 2024/25 to fund capital improvements with grants available between £10,000 and £50,000 to fund up to 75% of the total capital project costs.

West Norfolk Training Grants
Micro, small and medium sized businesses and sole traders in west Norfolk are being invited to apply for funding for training employees. Grants from £500 up to a maximum of £3,000 per business are available, with the funding covering a maximum of 75% of the total cost of the training.

Love Your Town
A UKSPF and Norfolk County Council funded pilot scheme for businesses and community groups in Downham Market, King’s Lynn and Hunstanton. Bids are invited for up to £1,000 of grant funding for ideas and initiatives that will generate footfall and activity within west Norfolk’s three town centres to help support the local economy and increase pride in the area. Expressions of interest must be submitted no later than 5pm on Friday 8 December 2023.

Go Digital West Norfolk
Free digital business support is available for small and medium sized businesses in West Norfolk to learn how to better use digital tools to identify business opportunities and help your business grow.
You can also apply for a grant award of up to £500 to help you implement a digital action plan. Applications are on a first come first served basis.

New Anglia Growth Hub
Too many businesses are struggling because they don’t know where to turn for business support – or who to trust. So they struggle alone, never really realising their highest potential or maximising the opportunities their hard work has created. We’re here to fix that. The BCKLWN has invested UKSPF funding to support the New Anglia Growth Hub in West Norfolk to provide free high quality local business advice and support.

The Place – Pop Up Shop and Business Hub
We are pleased to announce that UKSPF funding has been invested into funding a continued provision of The Place Pop Up Shop and Business Hub - The Place is a fresh, flexible, multi-purpose venue that can be hired for various business endeavours, such as exhibitions, demonstrations, interactive workshops, tastings, and even general retail usage. You could use The Place to test out a new product, trial a bricks and mortar presence or reach a new audience. The venue could be rented for an evening, weekend, week or even on a repeat basis. The possibilities are almost endless!
