Find out how to renew your permit to park in a residents parking zone
Our parking zones
We run a parking permit scheme for residents who live within parking zones in King's Lynn. We work alongside Norfolk County Council to run this.
If your property falls within one of the resident parking zones, you'll be eligible to apply for a permit.
The resident parking zones are:
- KR02 - South Quay and King's Staithe Square
- KR03 - Portland Street & Waterloo Street
- KR04 - Highgate and Eastgate Area
- KR06 - Springwood
Due to us changing our online parking system, you can no longer renew a permit online. You'll need to do so on our apply for a residents parking permit page. If you've already got an annual permit, we’ll send you a letter asking you to renew it four weeks before it expires.
- Resident and visitor annual - £40 each
- Business annual - £130 each

What happens next?
Once we’ve received your renewal application, we’ll send your new permit in the post within five working days. You’ll need to display this clearly on your windscreen at all times.
