About the consultation
The Licensing Act 2003 mandates that all local authorities publish a Statement of Licensing Policy every five years. Our current policy was approved by Full Council on 14 January 2021 and is due for review.
We have proposed minor changes to the existing policy. The draft Statement of Licensing Policy 2025 will replace the current version and extend it for another five years.

What happens next?
All feedback received will be reviewed and any necessary amendments made to the draft. The final version of the Statement of Licensing Policy 2025 will then be published on our website and come into effect by 14 January 2026.
