Paying your Council Tax by bank payment (Bacs) or standing order
Send a payment through your bank
Council Tax payments can be made by standing order (at your bank or online) or by Bacs.
To ensure your payment reaches your account you must quote the following:
- Your Council Tax or business rates account number (this can be found on your bill)
- Bank account number: 80207349
- Sort code: 20-17-68
If prompted for our account name/payee details, please state 'BOROUGH COUNCIL OF KING'S LYNN AND WEST NORFOLK'. Due to increased security some banks won't accept any other payee name, so please make sure to add this carefully. If you have any problems while making your payment, please contact us.
Please ensure the payment amount and frequency matches the instalments shown on your bill.
