How to pay your Council Tax online
Make a payment
Paying online is easy and secure.
To make a payment you'll need:
- your Council Tax account number (you can find this on your bill)
- your email address
- a valid credit or debit card (we don't accept American Express, Solo or Electron cards)
We'll process your payment by the end of the working day. If the payment is made before 4.45pm it will show on your account the next working day.
Payment receipt
Once you've paid you'll receive a confirmation of your payment on the screen. This will display your unique transaction number. You'll also receive an email confirming the payment has been successful.
