Find out about the Green Homes Grant that could help with the cost of home energy efficiency improvements
About the scheme
The Green Homes Grant is a new government scheme. It will allow you to claim a voucher towards energy efficiency improvements for your home.
The standard voucher covers two thirds of the cost of an energy efficiency measure, up to a maximum of £5,000. A low-income voucher is also available that covers 100% of the cost of an energy efficiency measure, up to a maximum of £10,000.
How long the schemes runs for
The scheme will run until 31 March 2021, by which time the voucher has to be claimed and energy efficiency improvements have to be completed. You can apply for a voucher from the end of September 2020.
