Nar Valley Park Housing

Information about the new homes being built in the Nar Ouse area

Nar Valley Park

We are working in partnership with Norfolk County Council to develop new homes on the land at Nar Ouse, known as 'Nar Valley Park'. The joint venture is set to deliver around 170 new homes being built in three phases.

The first phase of homes is almost complete. The last homes are available to buy through the appointed agents William H Brown. Phase two construction works to deliver two, three, and four-bed homes are now underway. It is to be completed by the end of 2016. Details of these will be available through William H Brown shortly.

All the properties are covered by an NHBC guarantee. They have been built to a high standard by the established local builders RG Carter Ltd, and designed by NPS Property Consultants Ltd.

The new housing uses modern methods of construction. They adopt higher standards of design quality and utilise environmentally-friendly materials to reduce the consumption of resources in new homes. This will set the standards for other developments to follow. It demonstrates that more exacting standards are achievable regardless of geographic location or specific market conditions.

The aim is to:

  • minimise resource consumption
  • maximise design quality
  • improve construction quality and efficiency
  • increase social inclusion and participation
  • improve quality of life
  • achieve long-term economic viability

Help To Buy

The Nar Valley homes are covered by the Government’s Help to Buy scheme, to help hard-working people buy their own homes. Whether you want to get onto the housing ladder or move up it, Help to Buy can make it possible with as little as a 5% deposit. More information is available from the Help to Buy website.

How do I apply for a Help to Buy Loan?

You can apply through a Help to Buy Agent. The selling agents William H Brown currently have staff who can  go through the process at their King Street offices. An appointment is essential.
