About the Public Inquiry

The Inquiry will be held at The Barn, Knights Hill Hotel on Tuesday 14, Wednesday 15 and Thursday 16 January 2020. And it will be held at The Town Hall, Saturday Market Place, Kings Lynn, PE30 5DQ on Friday 17 January 2020.

On 31 October, notification was received confirming the Secretary of State will determine the appeal instead of the Inspector. This means that instead of writing a decision, the Inspector will prepare a report and recommendation, which will be forwarded to the Secretary of State who will make the final decision. The target date by when the Inspector’s report and recommendation will be submitted to the Secretary of State is 14 April 2020. Currently there is no indication when the Secretary of State will issue the decision.

You may attend the Inquiry and at the Inspectors discretion participate in the discussion. Any views submitted in writing will be disclosed to both parties to the appeal and may be read out at the Inquiry.
