On Thursday 2 May you have the opportunity to vote for borough and parish councillors to represent your area. To find out more, you can visit the your vote matters website and watch our videos on:

Register to vote

The deadline to register to vote in these elections is Friday 12 April 2019.

Apply to vote by post

The deadline for:

  • receiving new postal vote and proxy postal applications
  • changes to existing postal, proxy postal or proxy votes

is 5:00pm Monday 15 April 2019.

Postal votes will be despatched on Thursday 11 April for the borough council elections and Wednesday 17 April for the parish council elections. If your postal vote has not arrived by Friday 26 April you can apply for a new one to be sent out.
