The Annual Canvass is underway.

Published: Monday, 22nd August 2022

The borough council received a record number of online responses to the annual canvass.

Over 10,000 residents replied online, letters have now been sent out to the households who are yet to confirm their voter registration details. They can still update their information online or complete the paper form.

Local residents are being encouraged not to lose their voice on decisions that affect them by making sure their electoral registration details are up to date.

Andrew Barrett, Electoral Services Manager, at the Borough Council of King’s Lynn & West Norfolk said:

“We’ve had the largest response ever through our online system, meaning 10,000 paper forms do not need to be sent out. If you receive the paper form through the post, please follow the instructions on the form so you don’t lose your voice at future elections.”

Any residents who have any questions can contact the local registration team at the Borough Council of King’s Lynn & West Norfolk by calling 01553 616773 or e-mailing elections@west-norfolk.gov.uk
