Police drop-in surgeries

Information about our community public meetings

Police drop-in surgeries and street surgeries

Police drop-in surgeries provide an opportunity for you to meet your local Engagement Officer and raise any concerns you may have about your community. The surgeries are usually held in public access venues and attended by your Engagement Officer.

The surgeries are informal with no requirement to book to attend. You can pop in any time between the stated hours and you will have the opportunity to speak to your Engagement Officer about any issues affecting your area, obtain crime prevention advice and raise any concerns.

We're looking to re-start our surgeries in the Autumn and full details will be published nearer the time. Non-urgent crime reporting can be made via our non-emergency telephone number 101 and online reporting forms at www.norfolk.police.uk. In an emergency always dial 999.

Safer Neighbourhood Action Panel (SNAP) priority setting meetings

SNAP priority setting meetings are held every three months for the policing areas of Downham Market, Kings Lynn and Hunstanton. These are public meetings where attendees can:

  • meet their Local Policing Team Beat Managers
  • hear updates on current priorities
  • raise any local concerns or issues
  • take part in voting in the next policing priorities for the area
