Mayor's Business Awards

Mayor’s Business Awards are the borough council’s way of publicly acknowledging outstanding business achievement and the contribution that businesses make to the West Norfolk economy.
Established in 1989, by former mayor Cllr Les Daubney, the awards publicly recognise the achievements of local businesses and provide them with the perfect opportunity to showcase their success.
Whatever the size of your business, if you think you have a success story to share, we’d love to hear from you. So whether you’ve expanded your business, developed a new product, excelled at training and developing your staff, conquered new markets or focussed on your exceptional green credentials, this is your time to shine. These awards are free to enter. All you have to do is tell us what you’ve achieved.
Borough Mayor, Cllr Geoffrey Wareham, who was part of the
judging panel this year, said: “As I have engaged with local
businesses during my year as mayor, I have been impressed by the
determination and optimism in the business sector in what we all
know are challenging times.
"The standard of entry has been extremely
high. I enjoyed visiting this year's nominated companies and
must say that the judging was a difficult job.
"The Business Awards are well established and I would encourage
local businessmen and women to put their enterprise forward for one
of these awards. Previous winners and their staff have benefited
greatly from the publicity and feel-good factor.”
Entries for the 2012 Mayor's Business Awards have now closed and the winners have been announced.
